Meet our friendly and talented artists. Erika Sorbello, Owner/Stylist Hello, everyone! My name is Erika Sorbello and I'm the proud owner
of Gallery Salon & Spa. Originally from Syracuse, I’m now 27
years of age. I came to Rochester 10 years ago to pursue an Art
degree at Nazareth College; yet, two years later, I decided to
change my career path to cosmetology. After 5 years of being a
stylist, I decided that Rochester needed a unique, down-to-earth
salon that attracted everyday people. So, in July of 2005—with only
four stylists—I opened Gallery Salon. Then, in April of 2006,
Gallery Spa was born! I now employ eight talented and enthusiastic
stylists, massage therapists, natural nail technicians, and
estheticians. Amanda Roth, Stylist Hi, my name is Amanda Roth. I am 21 years old and hail from Spencerport. Although I'm a recent graduate from Monroe Community College with a degree in Business Management, I have been a successful stylist for three years. I am an outgoing person who loves to ski, spend time with my friends and family, and most of all...enjoys great food! I have been working at Gallery Salon & Spa since March 2007 and I am continuing to build my clientele. If you need an updated ‘do, look no further—I'm your go-to stylist! Andrea DiProjetto, Stylist/ My name is Andrea DiProjetto. I am a stylist, a Licensed Balmain Extension Artist, and a creative person by nature. Aside from doing hair, I have two other loves in my life: my husband of 11 years, Jet, and my one of a kind, 14-year-old son, Zane. Creative color and cuts are my expertise! And, I’m passionate about transforming clients’ looks and giving them easy, time-saving tips. Interested in extensions? Give Gallery a call to set up your consultation today! Nicole Antonini, Stylist/Esthetician Hi. My name is Nicole Antonini and I am a "jack of all trades" at Gallery Salon & Spa. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2001 and have been happily working here for over a year! Need a transformation? Spend an afternoon with me! We can start with a relaxing and rejuvenating facial, then move to a spa pedicure and manicure...then journey down to my chair in the salon for an expert color and hair cut! Haven't had enough? I can wax you from head to toe! I take pride in staying current with new trends and products through continuing education. Gallery Salon & Spa isn't merely a job to me—it is where I come to meet new people and do what I love to do! Receive 15% off your first visit when you book an appointment with me. I look forward to creating a "new you!” Tina DiBattiso, Natural Nail/Waxing Technician Hi, my name is Tina DiBattiso. I have been married for 12 years and
have two beautiful little boys. Since February 2007, I have
been working at Gallery Salon & Spa as a natural nail and waxing
technician. At Gallery, we have whirlpool spa pedicure chairs that
employ new technology to keep the tubs bacteria free! Need waxing
services? We use wax for sensitive skin including hard wax for easy
hair removal. For a quick pick-me-up, try both a mini mani and a
petit pedi for only $40! |

LouLou O. Ghelichkhani, LouLou O. Ghelichkhani (Ghlich-kon'e) translates into "The star of the Sharp Sword Klan" in Farsi. LouLou has been an esthetician and a wax technician for about six year. She is known to solve all your unwanted hair dilemma's while singing sweet french songs to ease your pain. When LouLou is not taking care of clients at Gallery, she is cooking vegan/vegetarian food at the Abundance Coop, or maybe touring with Thievery Corporation or Sharp Sword ( two bands that she sings in french and Farsi for)...." Gallery was recommended by some of my favorite people in Rochester...and by the end of my first day I felt right at home..surrounded by very talented and creative people who love to grow and share their love of grooming!" LouLou also has an extensive collection of stencils for Brazilians!!!! So come on in and don't be shy! Wink wink! ''The image is a pure creation of the
spirit.'' Grace Dewey, Master Reiki Practitioner Hi, I am Grace Dewey, Reiki Master Practitioner at the Gallery Spa since July 2006. I started my Reiki journey with my First Degree Reiki in May 2001, and completed my Master Degree in January 2004. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive touch that balances one's energy centers, or chakras, and treats the whole person in spirit, mind and body. It has many beneficial effects, which include relaxation, stress relief, healing on all levels and an overall feeling of peace and well-being. Reiki works well with, and complements, traditional forms of healing. I am committed to helping you achieve wellness and would love the opportunity to have you experience this wonderful ancient Japanese modality. I have been interested in natural and integrative forms of medicine for over 15 years. Currently I am a member of the Integrated Health Committee and helped organize a workshop last fall for the Rochester medical community. This workshop provided presentations and resources on complementary services available in this area to the many doctors, nurses and chiropractors that attended. Besides my Reiki, I am an accountant. And, in my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my many friends, family and especially my 4-month-old granddaughter. Markis Newman, Stylist/Framesi Educator Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Markis and I have been
working in the beauty industry for over 12 years. It is a job I can
say I truly enjoy. (How many jobs do you know of where you come to
work to have fun and get paid?) Each day brings new challenges as
well as new friends. Part of the fun of my profession comes
from learning my clients’ likes and dislikes. This insight allows me
to discover the styles and designs that work best for them. People
often ask me, "What should I do about my hair?" My answer is always
the same; I don't tell people what they should do, I help them find
out what works best for their unique needs. (If I had my way,
everyone would have pink mohawks!) Around the salon, and among my
existing clients, I am known for my boisterous and infectious laugh,
sense of humor, and—at times—sharp wit and sarcasm. Meera Solomon, Licensed Massage Therapist Hello, my name is Meera Solomon and I am a licensed Massage Therapist. I graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage here in Rochester and I received my New York State massage therapy license in September of 2007. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, yoga, spending time with family and friends, and curling up with a book and my two kitties.I specialize in Swedish/therapeutic massage, deep tissue treatments for chronic pain and injury, pregnancy massage, and I am proud to add hot stone therapy to my repertoire to sooth and pamper even the most sore and achy muscles. Whatever your concerns or preferences, I look forward to working with you to tailor a treatment that is based on your specific bodywork needs. And remember, massage therapy is ALWAYS a great gift! |
